I have lead the end-to-end product design process as an external consultant and in-house.
Working with clients and teams in different corners of the world has made me appreciate how much context and culture play a role in the way we interact with technology and each other.

As a consultant I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients from a variety of industries, from early discovery stages all the way up to launching new or improved products and services.

I’ve conducted a lot of qualitative user research in the field, where people live or work, to bring insights in to guide the user experience.

I've also learned a lot about collaboration with stakeholders from running workshops and playing back research findings and the thought process behind design decisions.

In-house I gained hands on experience on the entire product lifecycle.

I got to collaborate closely with different departments and gained a better understanding on how business requirements are shaped from within and how to leverage data insights to inform decisions.

Working alongside other designers and developers I experienced the benefits and challenges of maintaining a cross-platform design system.
​
Above all, I learned a lot about managing the feedback loop that happens after each release, and on how team priorities need to adapt to reflect market shifts and emerging user needs.
